Cellist
Description
Cochlear hair cells turn vibration into signal — the exact point where a moving string stops being air and becomes music. There are roughly fifteen thousand of them, they are arranged by pitch, and they do not grow back. Everything you have ever heard passed through them.
Structure: cochlear hair cells
Float framed canvas. The canvas is stretched over premium 38mm bars and set inside a black frame with a shadow gap, so the work sits as an object rather than under glass.
Printed on 400gsm textured artist-grade cotton canvas, 12-colour giclée.
Frame: black, solid moulding. Edges: black wrap.
Made to order — each piece is printed, stretched and framed when you order it, then shipped direct.
