Description
In the third study the horse rears, weight thrown onto its hind legs. Red blood cells flood the muscles of the back and haunch to hold that impossible balance—a tide of oxygen rising to meet the moment, drawn in gold and oxblood against the dark.
Structure: red blood cells
Float framed canvas. The canvas is stretched over premium 38mm bars and set inside a black frame with a shadow gap, so the work sits as an object rather than under glass.
Printed on 400gsm textured artist-grade cotton canvas, 12-colour giclée.
Frame: black, solid moulding. Edges: black wrap.
