Description
The limbus is the border where the iris ends and the white of the eye begins—a thin ring where two tissues meet. Iris Limbus draws that edge as the subject: a dark rim holding colour inside it, the horizon of the eye, painted as a coastline between two seas.
Structure: the limbus
Float framed canvas. The canvas is stretched over premium 38mm bars and set inside a black frame with a shadow gap, so the work sits as an object rather than under glass.
Printed on 400gsm textured artist-grade cotton canvas, 12-colour giclée.
Frame: black, solid moulding. Edges: black wrap.
