Description
Wave II breaks in a long diagonal of slate against cream, the crest just beginning to fold. Microvilli bend together in the same way when fluid passes over them—a field of projections moving as one—and the wave is that microscopic tide seen from the shore.
Structure: microvilli
Float framed canvas. The canvas is stretched over premium 38mm bars and set inside a black frame with a shadow gap, so the work sits as an object rather than under glass.
Printed on 400gsm textured artist-grade cotton canvas, 12-colour giclée.
Frame: black, solid moulding. Edges: black wrap.
