Description
Iris crypts are the small openings in the stroma where the surface weave thins and the darker layer beneath shows through—pits and hollows scattered around the pupil. Iris Crypts draws those openings as a cratered field, the eye as a terrain of light and shadow.
Structure: crypts of Fuchs
Float framed canvas. The canvas is stretched over premium 38mm bars and set inside a black frame with a shadow gap, so the work sits as an object rather than under glass.
Printed on 400gsm textured artist-grade cotton canvas, 12-colour giclée.
Frame: black, solid moulding. Edges: black wrap.
