Diatoms drift through the ocean in shells of living glass—single cells wrapped in silica, patterned with a precision no jeweller could match. Water gathers them into a rising wave: cream and slate breaking across the canvas, the sea drawn from the smallest architects it holds.
Structure: diatoms
Float framed canvas. The canvas is stretched over premium 38mm bars and set inside a black frame with a shadow gap, so the work sits as an object rather than under glass.
Printed on 400gsm textured artist-grade cotton canvas, 12-colour giclée.
Frame: black, solid moulding. Edges: black wrap.
